Terms of Use

Using the site

You may browse the site and share links to it. Please do not try to break it, overload it, scrape it in bulk, access areas that are not meant for you, or use the forms to send spam or anything unlawful.

Briefs and intro calls

Sending a brief or booking a 30 minute intro call does not create a contract or commit either of us to a project. You agree that what you send is accurate and that you have the right to share any files you upload. I use briefs and files as described in the privacy policy.

If you need to cancel or move a call, reply to your confirmation email or write to info@iconnect-media.com.

Project work

Any paid work is covered by a separate written agreement or quote that sets out scope, price, timing, payment and ownership. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins.

Invoices and payment

Invoices are sent by email with a private link where you can view, download and pay them. Payments are processed by Stripe, and the due date is shown on each invoice. Amounts are in Canadian dollars unless the invoice says otherwise. Please keep invoice links private, since anyone with the link can view the invoice.

Content and ownership

The design, writing, code, images and video on this site belong to iConnect Media unless noted otherwise. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission. Client names, logos and trademarks shown in case studies belong to their owners.

The app screens shown in case studies are illustrations. Names, figures and dates in them are sample data, not real client records.

Information on the site

The site describes my services and past work in good faith, but it is general information, not professional advice for your business. Performance scores and results in case studies reflect those projects at the time they were measured, and your results may differ.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to sites I do not control, such as client websites and LinkedIn. I am not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Limits on liability

The site is provided as is. I work to keep it accurate and available, but I do not guarantee it will always be error free or online. To the extent the law allows, iConnect Media is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top.
